We were all excited when FINOW released the original X5 watch. It was a large format 400x400 AMOLED screen with bright colors and stood out from its siblings, the X1 and X3. Well now with the elimination of two buttons and a tweaking of the case design, FINOW has infused the "Q" series with this entry, the Q3. Almost identical to the X5, except for price, this watch is destined to be a hot seller. We've wished for the day these beautiful full Android watches would sell for less than $100, and this watch starts out full retail around $90! Time will tell to what level FLASH sales and coupon discounts will lower the price. Even if you already have a nice smartwatch, you may want to consider the Q3 as a second watch, it's that good.
Want to see your watch face designs appearing on FINOW watches? FINOW is asking for watch face submittals for possible use on this and future watches, both installed directly on the watch and available through the Add + feature. If you are interested in giving permission for FINOW to use your creations, here are three different ways to submit them for review:
1. Prepare your watch face design folder as a ZIP file and attach it to an email addressed from you directly to FINOW at this address: watch faces@finowatch.com Please submit only one watch face per email. In the body of the message state that you are the creator of the watch face design and that you give FINOW permission to use your design to appear on their watch products or download server.
2. For broader exposure and global permission to use by any company, post your watch face design directly to the G+ community using this link: you post it make sure you tag it for the correct section, Commercial Use Faces, and state in the text that you are the creator of the watch face design and that you give permission to use your design for commercial and non-commercial purposes. Be sure to include the link to your creation! Also, all the rules about posting watch faces still apply, attribution and homage.
3. A new proboards for round Android watches is under development, and you will be able to deposit your design in the Commercial Use Faces area there. Many of the G+ folks will be transitioning to that board, so drop in and take a look. You will need to register to gain access.
