The Sport Evolution Impact Chronograph is GO's take on the modern full-contact sports watch. Still powered by an in-house movement finished in the traditional fashion, the Evolution Impact series gains an elastomer "isolation raft" that floats on four elastomer supports within the burly case.
Clearly visible through the dial and case back, the four red shock attenuators were developed in conjunction with the Fraunhofer Group of Stuttgart, Germany. By creating a buffer between case and movement, the elastomers absorb 60 percent of shock energy before it reaches the movement.
Glashütte Original employs a caliber 39-31 chronograph caliber manufactured entirely within their Saxony headquarters, and automatic winding ensures set-it-and-forget-it ease of use.
